CANCELLATION POLICIES
» CANCELLATION FEES Any cancellations OR date changes on a reservation must be done 36 hours prior to the reservation.
When booking a reservation, we require a NON-refundable 10% deposit to hold the room/site.
Our system will automatically collect the remaining amount due 36 hours prior to the reservation date from the card on file.
Once our system collects the total amount on your reservation, it is NON-refundable under any circumstances.
We do not offer refunds.
» HOLIDAYSDue to the large demand for lodging on holidays all reservations are final. No refunds will be issued for cancellations.
» CASH PAYMENTS: We do not allow cash payments for any over night stays. A valid credit card must be used, with proof of I.D.
» PAYMENTSA 10% non-refundable payment is required at the time of your booking. By providing a credit card number, you are authorizing Resnexus to bill your credit card for the full amount of your reservation 36 hours prior to your stay, including any costs accrued while at the property, including any damages or theft of items, and outstanding balances not paid at time of departure. All reservations must be accompanied by a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover credit card.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not follow these rules, without refund.
» CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES and AGE RESTRICTIONS : Check-in time for all overnight guests staying in a lodging unit is 3:00 PM to 10:00PM. For all camping and Rv guests you may arrive between 1:00pm and 10:00pm. Guest(s) must be 18 years of age to rent a room. A credit card is required at check-in with matching photo ID. We do ask you not arrive before 3pm for lodging units to ensure your room is ready. However, if you do check in before 3pm you can pay an early check-in fee of $20. Check-out is at 11:00 AM for ALL GUESTS staying with us. If you would like a late check out please speak with a front desk staff member in advance.
» ENTRY: We do ask for no late arrivals after 10:00pm. As a smaller family style establishment, we do close our office at 10:00pm, while enforcing a quiet time starting at that hour. If for some reason due to circumstances out of your control (weather, road conditions or construction) we ask that you call our office at 541-493-2312 before 10pm to let a staff member know you will be arriving after then. We do charge a late check-in fee of $20.00 for anyone arriving after the 10:00pm check-in time.
GENERAL PROPERTY POLICIES
We want to make your stay both pleasant and comfortable. If you need any information, please feel free to inquire at the Front Office. Please help us make your stay here more enjoyable through your cooperation with following simple rules:
» VEHICLES: All vehicles must display a valid Crane Hot Springs parking permit. A vehicle without a proper parking permit is subject to tow at the owner’s expense.
» KEYS: Loss of or damage to keys in guest’s possession are subject to a fine of $35.00.
» LINENS: Linens and towels are provided for each lodging unit. If they are lost, stolen or damaged, you could be subject to a fee up to $250.00.
» QUIET TIME:All public areas will observe a quiet time between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. We ask that all noise be kept to a minimum; no generators, loud music or constant dog barking during these hours.
» TEEPEE/SHEEP HERDERS GUESTS: No pets allowed in or around teepees and the sheep herders wagon. Dogs may not be left in vehicles. No smoking, or fires allowed inside of the teepee. Soaking tub is for teepee guests only.
» PETS: We welcome dogs but they are allowed only in the parking lot, camping areas and pet-friendly cabins. All dogs must be registered with the front office at check-in. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. No pets are to be left unattended outside for any reason. Your pet may be left in your lodging unit, and or your RV. Dogs are NOT allowed at or in the pond. Owners must clean up after their pets. We do offer pet waste bags at the Office, free of charge, and have pet waste stations located around the property. A pet fee of $15.00 per dog per night will be added for guests in pet friendly rooms. A pet fee of $3.00 per pet, per night will be added for dry camping or RV guests. WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY CATS IN ANY OF OUR LODGING UNITS. Only some units are pet friendly. Pets in non-pet friendly rooms will face a $250 penalty fee. Cowpoke, Crane Creek Inn and the Teepees,do NOT allow pets.
» CHILDREN: Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must not be left unattended. Infants and toddlers, who are not potty-trained, must wear swim diapers in the pond. Do not allow children to play in the roadway.
» THEFT Any guest found stealing and/or vandalizing the grounds will be immediately asked to leave and will not be invited back. No refunds will be given.
» CRANE CREEK ROOMS: No pets and children allowed in Crane Creek Rooms. All rooms are non-smoking. If smoking/vaping occurs in room a fine of $250 will be charged to the credit card on file. No smoking/vaping, glassware, or cooking allowed on back patios.
» CAMPFIRE REGULATIONS: We have a limited number of areas designated for campfires. Fires may NOT be built in any other area. Firewood can be bought at the Office. During droughts, fires may be banned everywhere on the property. No fires during windy conditions! Please check with the office before having a fire.
» ILLEGAL POSSESSIONS We do not allow fireworks, illegal drugs, or unlawful behavior on Crane Hot Springs Property. Reports will be made to the Harney County Sheriff’s Department.
»SMOKING: All rental units are non-smoking of any kind. If smoking/vaping occurs in any room, a fine up to $250 will be charged to the credit card on file.
» PROPERTY DAMAGE & VANDALISM Scavenging, digging or defacing of the grounds is not allowed; Excessive vandalizing will be reported to the Harney County Sheriff’s Department. Metal detecting is never allowed. Discharge of firearms is strictly prohibited.
Crane Hot Springs or their employees will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred.
We anticipate that our policy will change from time to time, and we expressly reserve the right to change the policy when we find it to be appropriate. Your continued use of our resort constitutes your acceptance of our rules and policies, including any changes.
Day Use Rules and Responsibilities
Day Use Assumption of Risk Agreement and Release of Liability
- Respect Private Property: Please respect our property and other guests, many of whom are here for relaxation.
- Enter at Your Own Risk: No lifeguard on duty. We are not responsible for any type of injury.
- Safety Rules:
- No running, diving, or head-first entries.
- No beverages of any kind, including water.
- No food or glass anywhere near the pond.
- No smoking or vaping in or near the pond or bathhouses.
- Clothing is required at all times.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Lobster Pot.
Additional Guests
- Guest Declarations: Please declare the number of guests in your party.
- Failure to declare additional guests will result in a charge of $30 per undeclared guest.
- Day-use guests must leave the property by 10 PM.
- Staying past 10 PM will result in an overnight camping fee of 50%.
Risks Associated with Crane Hot Springs
Users acknowledge that the waters at Crane Hot Springs can be significantly hotter than typical hot tubs, spas, or jacuzzis. These conditions pose risks such as:
- Heat stroke
- Heart attack
- Dehydration
- Drowning
These hazards may result in serious injury or death. Please use caution.
Clothing Required
Bathing suits are required in the pond and Lobster Pot.
Alcohol and Beverages
No alcoholic drinks or other beverages are allowed in or near the pond and Lobster Pot. Water bottles and sodas may only be left at picnic tables.
Pond Etiquette
The following are strictly prohibited in the pond:
- Smoking or vaping
- Eating or drinking
- Soaps, shampoos, or oils
- Lotions or ointments
- Excessive noise or disturbances
- Lewd or sexual behavior
- Running or diving
- Pets
- Glass items
- Alcohol
Violation of these rules will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund. All members of your party will also be asked to leave.
